'Painting Faces, Expression and Emotions in Vivid Color!' animal and equine artist Sue Steiner shares new work, studio news and work in progress pics.
About Sue
Thank you for stopping by! I use this blog as a way to share 'work in progress' photos of my art, talk about my creative process and invite you along as I create an original painting. I enjoy sharing this process because I believe in the value of creativity and originality, of things made by the 'work of one's hands' and it breaks up the solitude that is a part of painting. I like the feedback and the interaction between what I am creating and what others see or feel. This is also my way of countering the media onslaught telling us we have to buy mass produced items from some far away, distant place! By opening up my art studio and my 'process' I believe it helps to bridge the gap so you can know me and hopefully gain insight and inspiration for your own creations! I believe art is for sharing and inspiring, encouraging and healing. I think art is for everyone. I believe art benefits people in ways mass produced things can not. My goals are to breathe life and emotion, color and drama in my work. I want it to be 'one of a kind'. Thank you for watching and being a part of my creative process. Without you it just wouldn't be the same! :)
