Embracing Our Differences

I've been working the last couple weeks with a group of middle schoolers at our local school doing some art projects. Tomorrow they should complete some paintings that will be submitted to the 'Embracing Our Differences' Art Exhibit in Ohio thru the Wayne Center for the Arts. The entries that are chosen will be made into 12 ft. x 16 ft. billboards which will be on display for a month in Wooster at the Ohio State ATI campus. This is open to adults and school children and is quite a fun way to get a very good message across. I had the pleasure of my artwork being selected to exhibt shown in the photo above taken at the 2007 Embracing Our Differences Art Exhibit The name of this blog came from my painting 'A Multi-Colored Life'.
To see more of my artwork you can go to http://www.suesteiner.com/ to read more about this event go to http://www.embracingourdifferencesohio.org/
Thanks!

Good luck to all the middle schoolers. That must be an interesting project and learning experience for you and them.
We finished the projects today and the kids did great! I will be posting some of what they did here soon. Yah, it was kind of a wild day! Paint flying everywhere! LOL!
