I painted these today as a way to warm up before starting in on some new commissions.  They are 8 x 8 and 5 x 5.  I will include some close ups of the thick paint and brushstrokes.  I am hoping to add some more of these to my studio in time for First Friday in Canton.  I want to do some fish, hamsters, guinea pigs.... that kind of stuff to add some variety to my usual dog, cat, horse art.

Thank you so much! I am terribly sorry, I just saw this! :( I haven't been blogging lately -obviously.... this post is several years old but I am still very much painting pet portraits. I have an Etsy Shop at https://www.etsy.com/shop/FreeReinArtStudio where I have lots of different options and price points. The smaller, square sizes (4 x 4) are 35.00. They are lots of fun and I have has several people order multiples for past and current pets. The square size makes for easy arranging on the wall, shelves, window sills, etc. and can be added to with future pets. If someone does order 'bulk' I give a discount as well as a discount to my repeat buyers. I am also happy to do 1. :)
