A Tender Moment

I put the final touches on this commission for Stephanie and Cowboy. I feel like I get to really know the subjects I paint as I am painting them. That is probably the best thing about doing commsions. I get to enter into a special place in time with people. I really consider that an honor so thank you! This painting will be made into a print with a very special poem overlayed on it. The poem speaks of the bond between people and horses as does this 'tender moment'.
