Today's Progress on the Hitching Post Mural

This is me in front of the mural I am painting of a team of matched Belgian's at Lehman's in Kidron, Ohio. This is the first layer of paint and I am 'blocking in' color to give definition and a general shape. I will continue to work in layers building up color and dimension to the horses and the full harness they will be wearing. The blue is painter's tape to keep my outlines nice and clean so I don't have to repaint the background. I still have quite a ways to go so stay tuned and stop back often for updates. I will be posting Work In Progress Pics on Leman's Country Life blog that you can find on this page to the right under 'Places to Visit'. To see more of my art go to http://www.suesteiner.com/ or e-mail me at artbysue@hotmail.com for information on commissions. I do horse and pet portraits as well as amish themed art and floral watercolors.

Thanks for stopping by!
